Intro to ChessFocus.com

The main objective of ChessFocus.com is to index and present tournament results in a way that is easy to browse and search.

The usefulness of the site depends on what's in my database. This is a one-man project, so my resources are not vast. What I have in my database as of the launch is most (but certainly not all) of the major closed tournaments of the past 30+ years or so, and I've been attempting to fill in the years with other closed tournaments with a rough threshold of Category X or above. I will continue to add stuff as I can. Of course, as you get further back in time, tournament results get harder to come by.

There are probably bugs and almost definitely some mistakes in the data I've collected. I'd greatly appreciate any corrections you send to the contact page!
